Ok. My story is a little different. I called Josh on a Saturday evening after seeing a small leak in our den after a drenching week of rain. Our roof is edpm and has had some issues over the past 3 years but is in decent shape. I assumed he would get back to me sometime the next week. I was surprised to receive a text message asking for some more details the next morning at 8am! From this point on Josh was intent on getting me comfortable and gave his time, advice, and even met me with some silicone products near Torrington. I left with what was surely a few hundred of dollars of products in my car. He even brought gloves, scotch pad, fleece netting etc. I did not hire him yet! Who does this? Josh does this. Kindest man around no doubt. We have music in common so that was a gift. He has a customer for life and I trust his knowledge and value his empathy and kindness. I’ll be seeing him soon! From beginning to end both Josh, Stephanie and his crew were phenominal! Josh is not only personable, but professional, knowledgeable and honest! Before Josh even got on our roof he already knew we have a squirrel problem (impressive!). Our chimney flashing, which wasn't installed promperly, allowed the quirrels to chew on it. Josh noticed this immediately. We initally had him come out for a skylight leak. So, he not only helped us with that, but corrected an issue we had no idea about, all with reasonable pricing! We highly recommend him for any type of roof repair!

Working with Josh and his team was a great experience from start to finish. During the quoting process Josh was the only person who actually went on the roof to check the condition of the shingles, and he was really knowledgeable about the type of roof we had and how it was constructed. The roof was completed in a day with Josh onsite as well as his whole crew, with a little bit of cleanup on the second day. We also had Josh tear off the old log facia on our dormer that was rotted away replaced with cedar shakes. This additional project took a couple days, and we were so impressed with how Josh thought outside the box to solve this problem that had plagued us for a decade. Big shout-out to Stephany for all her help with scheduling and billing and dropping off samples! Super easy people to work with! Can't recommend enough! So so pleased with how my roof and dormer look!

Can't recommend RVR enough! They went above and beyond in cleaning some moss off my roof as well as remedying a few other issues that had been flagged during a home inspection.

Josh and Stephanie have been extremely helpful and are my go to roofer. I first reached out a few years ago when I noticed leaking from my not so old roof (installed by a different company). We contacted Josh who was great in diagnosing the problem so that it could be corrected without issue since. Most recently, I wanted to move a vent to make space for solar panels. RVR was prompt, reasonable and flexible in getting the job done. Josh was even nice enough to say my chimney could use a crown and that my other bathroom vent was never reconnected! My only regret is that I didn’t call them to redo my roof initially.

Josh and his crew were prompt, professional, and effective. Extremely communicative, too! After arriving and assessing the damage, they made the required repairs. Even after all this most recent rain & snow, the repairs have held up. Just as important, Josh follows up to make sure the work completed is functioning as described. This is the second time I used River Valley Roofers and I will use them again.

Joshua and Stephanie are truly the best! They are responsive, thorough and communicative. During the initial visit, they spent an hour to inspect the roof and the chimney inside out. They thoroughly explained the issue and shared their knowledge with me. They were very honest, and informed me that my roof were in good condition and only a small area on the chimney need to be repaired. On the day of repair, they went above and beyond, and helped trim some branches. I really appreciate their expertise and work ethic. I highly recommend them!
